Comments:

Laoghaire 2nd (Leary as it is pronounced in Scottish Gaelic) has, since a calf, never stopped catching our eye at Bairnsley. She has no real weaknesses as a Highland, or indeed, a beef animal.

She has oodles or style and presence, perfect feet and legs (the likes of which I have seen in very few Highlands anywhere in the world), and the body capacity and Highland character that puts her into the very traditional, maternal type for the breed. Easy going, and very easy doing, Leary has a moderate frame, and is well set up through the shoulder, with plenty of width over the withers.
