Auction – General Features of Sale

All the stock in the sale are:

* Registered (or registerable) with the Australian Highland Cattle Society
* Of Fully Imported Bloodlines (FIB) (What is FIB?)
* DNA tested for proof of parentage (What is Parentage Verification?)
* Free of the nt821 Myostatin gene (What is nt821?)
* Vaccinated with 7-in-1 and Pestigard
* Females are pregnancy tested in calf (if older than 2 years)
* Bulls have passed an independent fertility & semen evaluation (in the 4 weeks prior to sale)
* Paddock raised and have not been pushed along with grain – they are as they are.

To Bid, you MUST:

1)  Be a member of the AHCS – All people bidding on registered stock, must be members of the Australian Highland Cattle Society (AHCS), or have membership pending. This is the link to the membership page Join the AHCS. Let us know if you have any problems with this.

2) Have a PIC – All bidders must have a current Property Identification Code (PIC) for the property that the cattle will be transported to. If you do not have one, then this can be acquired in Victoria with the following link – Get my new Victorian PIC. If you live in other states, then you will need to do this through your state department.
