Auction - General Conditions of Sale
1) Prices are in Australian dollars and exclusive of GST.
2) Bidding is online only and closes at 5.00pm on Sunday 3rd March, 2024. (Bidding begins 9 hours prior, at 9.00am.)
3) Viewing stock – All stock can be viewed on farm (by appointment) during the fortnight prior to the Sale. (contact us for an appointment – CONTACT US). We strongly encourage those wishing to bid to visit our property and view the animals.
4) All bidders must:
(a) have a current PIC (Property Identification Code), and
(b) be a member of the Australian Highland Cattle Society.
5) Payment Terms – the full amount must be paid within 72 hours of the close of bidding, via electronic funds transfer (a tax invoice and receipt will be issued).
6) Transport – The winning bidder must organise their own transport, and all cattle must be picked up within 14 days of the close of bidding. Loading facilities for trucks or trailers are available. (Recommendations on suitable livestock transporters can be given.)
7) Sale price includes transfer of the animal’s registration with the Australian Highland Cattle Society into the winning bidder’s name. In the case of embryos, we will provide the appropriate DNA profiles on the sires & dams for testing. The winning bidder will be responsible for completing the DNA profile and parentage verification of the calf (What is DNA profiling?), as well as registering the calf in the winning bidder’s own fold name. (We are happy to provide any assistance required for this process.)
