Holly Caitlin of Bairnsley ET (10,831)

Colour: Dun

nt821 Gene: Free

DOB: 20.12.22

Comments:

Holly is the third female from this embryo flush that was born at Bairnsley. Sharing the same natural width and correctness as her sisters (Caitlin & Snowy), she has a beautiful Highland head, good frame and a deep body - the traditional, maternal type of Highland that many breeders are heading back towards. Her pelvic and shoulder set up is second to none. Her sire gives her some size and style, and her dam adds depth of body, giving her some serious volume.

Her dam, WF Caitlin, was hand picked by Bairnsley to be flushed, on a visit to the USA in 2017.  This stout-made cow was remarkable for her thick and square stance, and her volume. The sire, the Scottish bull - Angus 8th of Dunvegan, adds some size and character but maintains correctness.
